ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction with the recent findings of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighting Pakistan's growing appeal as a reliable destination for investment. According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister noted that the report shows increased confidence among foreign investors in Pakistan's improving business environment. The country's global business situation has seen a significant improvement, rising to thirty-one percent from a deficit of ten percent. The Prime Minister emphasized that employment prospects have improved, with the manufacturing sector experiencing growth from two to six percent and the services sector expanding from seven to thirty percent. Shehbaz Sharif highlighted notable increases in the sales of cement, automobiles, fertilizers, and petroleum products as evidence of the country's economic progress. The Prime Minister described these outcomes as a positive signal for global investors, noting the con fidence of foreign investors has risen in recent months. The Prime Minister also mentioned the growth in foreign reserves, attributing it to a surge in exports and record remittances. He reiterated the government's commitment to providing relief to the people, attributing the economic improvements to effective policies and the diligent efforts of the economic team.
