Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has praised the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) for its vital role in the country's defence. He was speaking during a meeting with the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister highlighted the significant achievements of the PAF, noting that the Shaheens of Pakistan Air Force shot down enemy aircraft during Marka-e-Haq, delivering a decisive blow. Shehbaz Sharif described the Shaheens as a lead-lined wall tasked with safeguarding the geographical frontiers of the motherland.
During the meeting, professional affairs of the Pakistan Air Force were also discussed, reinforcing the importance of the PAF in maintaining national security and addressing future challenges.
