Karachi: The Sindh and the federal governments have decided to build Keti Bandar Port along the Sindh coastline to boost trade. The agreement to this effect was reached at a meeting between Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaiser Sheikh and Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah in Karachi today. The meeting emphasized the construction of Keti Bandar Port as a necessity for the region. According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, various issues were discussed including the problems faced by fishermen, the treatment of wastewater, and marine pollution. The development of Keti Bandar Port is seen as a strategic initiative to enhance trade capabilities and address environmental challenges along the Sindh coastline.
