Karachi: Regional Director United Nations Population Fund Pio Smith along with a delegation called on Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori in Karachi today. The meeting focused on the initiatives and contributions of the United Nations Population Fund (UNPF) in Pakistan, especially concerning mother and child health. According to Radio Pakistan, Sindh Governor informed the visiting guest about the government's priorities, emphasizing that human development, particularly the provision of basic facilities to the people, is the top priority of the government. He expressed appreciation for the efforts and services being performed by the United Nations Population Fund in the region.
