Gilgit: Chief Minister Gilgit Baltistan Haji Gulbar Khan has directed the restoration of flood-affected infrastructure on an emergency basis in the region. Addressing a review meeting in Gilgit regarding flood damage in Gilgit Baltistan, he directed the relevant departments to restore irrigation channels, electricity, affected roads, and drinking water in the affected areas at the earliest.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister emphasized that the rehabilitation of flood victims is the top priority of the government.
