Punjab government has decided to provide fifty-six types of agricultural machinery to farmers. The decision was taken in a meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore today. The meeting was briefed that under mechanization plan, agricultural machinery will be purchased at a cost of two billion rupees and it will be given to farmers on subsidized rates.
