Lahore: Pakistan Rangers (Punjab) is continuing rescue and relief operations in flood-affected areas. In the Kasur district's Ganda Singh Wala and adjoining areas, Rangers personnel have shifted 6,890 people and 1,024 livestock to safe locations.
According to Radio Pakistan, due to flooding in the Sutlej River, thirty villages in the border areas have submerged. Pakistan Rangers (Punjab), along with other relevant departments, are conducting rescue operations using boats. Rangers personnel are also guiding 1122 teams in reaching far-flung areas.
Additionally, Punjab Rangers contingents are assisting the district administration in restoring routes and repairing roads.
