Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved "Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Kisan Card" project to facilitate farmers. Presiding a special meeting for agricultural reforms in Lahore today, the Chief Minister said five hundred thousand small farmers will be given loans of one hundred and fifty billion rupees on easy terms. She said thirty thousand rupees per acre will also be given for the purchase of the best seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides. She underlined the establishment of Model Agriculture Centers in every district of the province in collaboration with the private sector, which will be equipped with modern agricultural machinery, training, pesticide seeds and demonstration plots.
